- Diamond Aluglass Tape is made-up of a high tensile strength aluminum glass fiber cloth backing (aluminum foil + glass fiber cloth reinforcement), combined with a high performance adhesive and laminated by an easy release silicone paper liner for specialized HVAC insulation applications.
Diamond Aluglass Tape is available in three types: Rubber based, Solvent-based and FR Grade. - Aluminum – Glass Fiber Cloth backing provides a strong reinforcement and an excellent reflection of both heat and light. Low moisture content of this tape makes it a good sealant.
- The aggressive adhesive offers long service life for outdoor as well as high humidity atmosphere.
- It provides an excellent vapor barrier due to low moisture vapor transmission rate.
- The high-strength adhesive gives strong adhesion and holding power that provides a reliable and durable joint and seam sealing in insulation applications.
- For FR Grade Aluglass Tape: It consist of FR grade Class 0 backing + Flame Retardant Acrylic Solvent Adhesive which provides a wide application temperature range.
