- Diamond/Aerofoam Alupet Tape is a special aluminum foil tape reinforced with PET film backing combined with strong solvent acrylic adhesives and easy release liner. It is recommended as a closing tape for Aerofoam XLPE insulation.
- Aluminum foil + PET laminate backing gives excellent reflection of both heat and light. It also provides greater and improved tear strength to the backing.
- Conforms well to irregular surface insulation materials due to its flexibility.
- The strong solvent-based acrylic adhesive offers very aggressive initial tack and a permanent bonding for insulation applications.
- Suitable for masking in electroplating of aluminum due to its non-contamination properties.
